Description
*Full info below*Absolutely gorgeous KC registered labrador puppies for sale. Born from KC registered, fully health tested parents. This means hip and elbow scored, yearly eye test and extensively DNA tested. Both dogs are tested/hereditary clear of all the main test including the 2 new tests -STGD and MCD. Beside also has additional DNA testing that aren't part of the standard. Both parents tests can be seen when visit.
Raised in the home with the best love, care and expense (as they should be), each puppy will go to their homes KC registered, with 5 generation pedigree, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and de-flead treatment plus puppy pack and most importantly life time support.
We are 5* licenced breeders (it is a legal requirement to have a licence no matter what people say) and are proud to be regularly checked/visited and to meet the highest standards of breeding.
These puppies are raised in the home using puppy culture to help raise confident and social little puppies.
As council licenced breeders we have regular inspections and as 5* licence holders we meet the highest requirements. This ensures our dogs and processes are inspected and vetted as well as our premises and all that we offer and do.
We adhere also to the Kennel clubs highest level of testing and breeding regulations. These regulations cover when you can breed and how often. The KC state no dog to be bred till after 1 and 2nd season (I wait till at least age 2 and 3rd season), they must be bred for the last time before aged 8 and can be bred for a max of 4 sessions (this has to be led by the interests of the dog and sometimes less is best), they can only be bred twice if have a caesarian (I would not breed again if had a caesarian and my licence expects this also). There must also be a year and a season between litter. When you buy a KC registered dog then you know that these rules have been adhered to. All unlicenced, unregulated breeders have no one ensuring not only that standard of care, but now often bred. So often dogs are bred and bred with each season till they can breed no longer. This just breaks my heart but logically how can an exhausted mum produce a healthy puppy?
We are passionate about our dogs and our puppies. They are all raised in the home with comfort, interaction and loads of love and come with lifetime support. This means not only supporting all our buyers and dogs for life, it means that we hold responsibility for all our dogs including our puppies for life. So any dog that we breed must be returned to us at any point so that we can re-home carefully. No Satterley Labrador will ever end up in a rescue centre. We also keep all our dogs for life. We do not re-home our dogs once they cannot breed. They remain in the home, on the sofa, having the best food, vet care, love and life.
We vet all buyers and expect to be vetted. It is essential that you are happy with your chosen breeder. Our puppies only go the the best homes as they deserve the most wonderful life. Each puppy comes with lifetime support which starts before the puppy goes to their new home. Help with preparing and setting up for puppy, helping on those early days and months and on for the rest of the dogs life. Each litter has its own What's App group so you will always know all your puppies siblings and owners. The What's App group is a great place for us to share information and photos whilst we have the puppies and for the owners to share pics and stories and gain support when the puppies go home. As well as this 121 support is here from me for life. We do this as we love our puppies so much and want the best for them- that's why they only go to the best homes and to enable that with our support if needed.
Please also look at our FB page 'Satterley Labradors' where I share photo"s and info on the puppies and in fact all my dogs. Plus there is a pinned post on the top of the page that tells a lot about us and how we work.
There is so much else I could write but please do contact me if I can help further, you have any questions etc. Choosing a breeder and a puppy can be a minefield. So what ever you do, please choose a licenced breeder who can explain all of the above and the standards that they follow. Any one breeding without a licence is breeding as a back yard breeder and should not be being promoted. To raise a litter effectively is so expensive. All decent breeders that I know, have at least 1 other type of work to help them subsidise their litters. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if I can help further and thank you for reading all this! I do get a bit passionate on this, but that's ok- it's very important. X x
