This is Moose, he’s a stunning 14month old boy who needs a forever home..
I’ve been fostering him for 2 weeks as his family life fell apart and he’s my dog’s son.
Mum is a 30kg Czech Shepherd cross collie, Dad is a 40kg Dutch Herder cross Northern Inuit.
Moose’s markings are classic Inuit. Everyone comments on him, the vets all fell in love..
I had him castrated and a dew claw removed last Monday, his checkup was today and he’s healing perfectly.
Moose has a lovely calm temperament, he’s fine on a lead and around other dogs.. just wants to play..
Great with kids, very affectionate..
I take him out at 11pm and 6 am and no accidents this week.
He’s very clever and very bonding so needs human company all the time, if you leave him and he can’t see you he will cry and bark.
He’s been coming to work with me for 2 weeks and he’s been perfect.
He needs a rural or semi-rural home with large secure garden.
Having said that there are no fences here and he hasn’t run off.
He needs more training. Recall is there but needs work.
The only reason I’m not keeping him is his Dad is mightily unimpressed and we have to keep him separated.
He’s the perfect dog in my opinion.
