1. Always be patient
Always being patient and positive is the best way to train your puppy in any aspect. Try to remember that this is a new and scary thing for your new little puppy.

2. Establishing a good routine is essential
This is incredibly important for your puppy as it will help them learn much quicker.
It's a good idea to keep a diary of your puppy’s behaviours with regards to eating, sleeping and toilet habits

3. Use consistent keywords
Using consistent key words, such as ‘wee-wee’ when your puppy is toileting will help them start to associate the word with the action.

4.Be aware of the trigger points
For example, your puppy will usually need to urinate on waking up in the morning, so taking them outside should be the first thing you do.
They will need to go again after each meal. It will be a while before your puppy is able to tell you they need to go outside, so be patient.
Do not leave your puppy unattended in the garden where they could learn to chew on plants or even fall into danger.
